Downton’s third season is now available on Hulu and will be released in the fall, marking the end of the iconic television series that aired for a decade on ABC and the BBC.
The third season of Downtons was created by Martin Freeman and the producers of HBO’s The Sopranos, but its official release comes less than two weeks after HBO announced it was dropping the series for the first time in four years.
It will be available on Amazon Prime Video and HBO Go, Hulu and Amazon Instant Video.
The series was nominated for seven Emmys, including best drama series, and was nominated five times for Outstanding Drama Series.
The Emmy winner, Peter Morgan, will be credited as executive producer and showrunner, with his writing partner and showrunners, Michael Ontkean and Michelle MacLaren, serving as showrunners.
The series is now in its fourth season and the last one to air before HBO’s departure from television.
The network announced that it will end Downtonic in 2017, and the show will be renewed for a sixth season.
Downtons’ fifth season will premiere in 2018, with a final season planned for 2022.
