We want to make sure you have everything you need to start learning to code, but we’re not going to explain every step.
You should still be able to do this tutorial and then start coding on your own.
If not, it’s not that hard.
The tutorial will walk you through building a bamboo carpet pattern from scratch using a simple template, using a few basic tools, and some basic math.
In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to build a carpet pattern using two basic shapes: a rectangular tile pattern and a circle tile pattern.
In the tile pattern, you make an imaginary rectangle.
In addition, you draw an imaginary circle on the floor to represent the tile.
To complete the pattern, draw another rectangle on the tile that’s a half inch wide by three inches high.
If there’s an invisible line at the bottom of the circle tile, then the pattern will have a border.
Next, we’ll add two invisible lines that divide the tile into two equal halves, creating a circular pattern.
You can use the following three shapes to make the pattern: rectangle, circle, and triangle.
Each shape has a slightly different function, and you’ll get to know the basics of each one.
Now that you’ve got your pattern, we’re going to show you a simple way to use a few patterns to make something pretty.
We’re going back to our pattern-maker template, and we’re making two shapes: one rectangle, one circle, one triangle.
For this tutorial we’re using a rectangle tile pattern that you’ll find in the tutorial, and then we’re creating the pattern using the rectangle pattern template.
You’ll be able use this template for a variety of things.
For example, you could make a rug pattern using a rectangular pattern and some invisible lines.
We want to be able, at some point, to make carpet patterns using other templates.
For now, however, we need to focus on the rectangle tile patterns.
In order to make them, we first need to make some invisible shapes.
We start by making two rectangles with a square on them.
This creates a rectangle, which is our template.
Next, we create a triangle, and another rectangle.
This will create a circle.
Finally, we add a line that joins them together, forming a circle pattern.
To add the invisible lines, you first need two rectangle tiles.
We draw a rectangle with two invisible line strips, one on each side of the rectangle.
Now we make two triangles with two lines.
The lines are added together, creating three lines.
If we don’t have two lines, we just make one line strip.
Now the pattern is complete!
We’ve just added two invisible pieces of code, which means we can now start working on our pattern.
You can see that our pattern is completed!
