Posted June 28, 2018 11:02:00 It’s a common misconception that the Calgary Hitmen were the only team to spray their carpet cleaners with the foam foam product.
The answer is yes, the Hitmen did have a foam spray dispenser, which they could use to spray the carpet, but they weren’t the only ones using it.
The Hitmen had a few other options, and while they’re not the only one to use this product, they’re certainly the most well-known.
The Calgary Hitman have had the foam spray for quite some time, and they’re also known for having the best record in the NHL for clean-up-time per game, according to the Elias Sports Bureau.
That’s good news for the Hitman.
In the past four seasons, they’ve recorded 7.36 clean-ups per game.
That means they’ve been outscoring opponents at an average of 1.7 goals per game during that time.
While the Hitmans are a good team, they werent always a juggernaut.
They had a poor start to the 2017-18 season and went on to win just two of their final six games before going on a three-game losing streak.
That loss came in Calgarys season-opening loss to the Ottawa Senators.
Since that loss, the Flames have gone 11-3-1, their first 11-win season since 2009-10.
The team also owns a 10-3 record in their last 19 games dating back to Feb. 13, 2016.
In the past two seasons, the hitmen have also posted an impressive 3.26 goals per contest, which ranks ninth in the league.
The Calgary Hitmills have scored a combined 2.09 goals per 100 possessions, which is fifth in the League.
The Flames are still far from a Stanley Cup contender, but it’s a lot to ask to score 3.0 goals per night and score so many in a short amount of time.
In this case, its probably not as big of a deal, but this kind of success can make you forget about it.
